Here is an update on Canopy Oak.
A few weeks ago we brought in our outside horticultural consultant to advise on the situation.
Based on his observations and recommendations we developed a plan.
The first thing we are doing is bringing in a tree company to clean up dead branches hung up within existing trees as well as leaning trees. This will clean up the area, make the trees healthier and eliminate dangers of overhanging dead branches.
This will also involve removing some additional trees for the purpose of saving other trees as well as safety.
This is scheduled for next week and should take a few days. Please note that had been previously scheduled and moved on two prior occasions by the contractor.
After this step will be the installation of new trees.
The new trees are already on order and scheduled for installation later this month.
However, this must b done after the cleanup phase.
There will be a number of small/medium sized trees planted. These include:
Live Oaks
Sweet Gum
Sabal Palms
Additional azalea plants
Hopefully, everything will be completed prior to the end of the month. However, we are dependent on third party contractors so the schedule is subject to change.
